Kurt Angle has talked for years about making the jump from pro wrestling into MMA, but has yet to take a substantial step toward the sport with regards to training or signing with an MMA organization.
Angle actually turned down an offer from UFC president Dana White in which he would have been paid to train MMA for a year with the expectation that he would debut in the UFC after getting proper cross training.
Though he turned down the offer to actually train Angle continues to talk about joining an MMA organization as noted by Chuck Liddell.
“He talks about it all the time, but he hasn’t made any movements towards doing it, to my knowledge he hasn’t done any training or cross-training,” Liddell told Setanta Sports News.
“If he’s just gonna come in and wrestle, he’s going to get beat, you can’t just be a one-dimensional fighter in The UFC.
“I don’t care how good you are, it’s not gonna work.”
