As previously reported on MMAFightline, Judge Jennifer Togliatti was scheduled to hear Zuffa’s motion for preliminary injunction against Randy Couture earlier this week. The motion sought to prevent Couture from engaging in activities that would allegedly violate the non-compete provisions in his employment agreement.

The Judge issued a ruling granting Zuffa’s preliminary injunction, thereby preventing Couture’s tacit participation in the IFL event scheduled this evening. Prior to the Court’s ruling, the IFL replaced the Xtreme Couture team with a team lead by Shawn Tompkins. The IFL event airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST on HDNet.
