As previously reported on MMAFightline.com, Zuffa scheduled its motion for preliminary injunction against Randy Couture on March 4, 2008. The motion seeks to prohibit Couture from engaging in activities which allegedly violate the non-compete in the employment contract between Zuffa and Couture.

On February 20, 2008, Zuffa’s attorney requested that the hearing be re-scheduled for February 25, 26 or 27th prior to Couture’s participation at the IFL event on February 29, 2008. As a result, if the Court grants the request, the decision on whether to grant the preliminary injunction may be made before the end of next week.
