The Couture-Zuffa situation as suddenly become more complicated as Dallas Mavericks/ HD Net Fights owner Mark Cuban has thrown is hat into the legal ring.

HD Net Fights has staked a claim, surprisingly suing both Couture and Zuffa, in a move which, if all goes to plan, will force a judgment on when exactly Couture’s contract will expire.

HD Net stands to gain much if a favorable ruling is declared as they may be able to promote, along with M1 Global, the highly anticipated Couture- Emelianenko showdown, as they promoted Fedor's last outing on New Year's eve.
