To follow up on our story earlier about Rich Franklin having to pull out of his UFC 82 fight with Travis Lutter due to a torn meniscus he suffered in his right knee (to read the full story, click here), Franklin will be undergoing knee surgery in Las Vegas in the next week or two.

Franklin is expected to return in June, and Travis Lutter will be held off until Franklin returns so that fight is still the plan for Franklin's next fight.
