Another addition has been made to UFC 82: PRIDE of a Champion as Chris Leben and Alessio Sakara have confirmed that they will square off. The news first broke through fiveouncesofpain.com.

This will mark Leben’s 11th fight for the company which began with a 5 fight win streak and followed with a series of losses or lackluster wins.

Sakara, his opponent, has recently switched camps and is hoping to rejuvenate a career which has seen 3 wins out of 6 fights.

This fight may have an eventual title implication, as the division has shown some lack of depth. More immediately a highlight knockout for either competitor may materialize as both have shown willingness to trade.
