 The UFC wasn’t kidding when they were actively seeking to find a bigger arena to hold their first event in Ireland. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t find another arena suitable for what they were trying to accomplish, but UFC 93 sold out in just under two weeks according to a release that was sent out by the UFC.
Growth has been the primary focus of the UFC ever since their first event in the U.K. UFC 93 marks the seventh sell-out of a UFC event in the British Isles since April 2007.
The main event for the card will feature a Middleweight eliminator match between Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson, both who have come up short in title bids against current champion Anderson Silva.
