 Fresh off of winning the DREAM Middleweight Grand Prix, Gegard Mousasi has apparently agreed to compete on January's Affliction card. "I think it is Fedor against Josh Barnett and they want me to fight Vitor Belfort." Mousasi told Fighters Only Magazine.
If true, that would mean that Josh Barnett will get the nod for the WAMMA heavyweight title as opposed to Andrei Arlovski. It was Arlovski who was originally penciled in asthe #1 contender but now it seems that Affliction is taking a different route.
Vitor Belfort was also just recently re-added to Affliction's January event after beingtaken off of the October card due to an injury. He was originally set to face Matt Lindland but now he'll be taking on Gegard Mousasi.
