EliteXC held a press conference today to address the media and promote their upcoming show set to take place on November 10 at 10 pm ET. You can catch the event live on Showtime.
EliteXC executive Gary Shaw expressed concern over EliteXC fighters cutting too much weight and endangering themselves with severe cuts especially the day before a fight. With that in mind Shaw announced the addition of more weight divisions. The promotion will now officially have divisions at 140 lbs, 150 lbs, 160 lbs, 170 lbs, 185 lbs, 205 lbs, 265 lbs, and 265 plus.
