Other highlights from the call included the EliteXC's desire to someday take part in events which include fighters from other organizations. Shaw emphasized co-promotion's ability to garner more fans and grow the sport based on his experience in boxing promotion.

Also of note is that EliteXC plans on offering internet streaming of the undercard for free the night of the event. Backstage coverage will be included and is designed to make the fan really feel to be a part of the experience.

Shaw also offered the reason for holding the first EliteXC show in Mississippi to be the opportunity to reach a new audience
